GaydarRadio spices up its schedule for LGBT History Month

• Stuart Miles spices up Sunday Evenings
• Andy Peacock Joins Weekends
• Alex Baker on weekday Afternoons
• Simon Le Vans moves to Lunchtimes

GaydarRadio is launching its new line up this LGBT History Month from Monday 1st February 2010. Stuart Miles will wrap up the weekend with a new Sunday evening program of up front music and interaction.

Stuart joined GaydarRadio in January 2008 as the weekday lunchtime presenter and is looking forward his new show. Stuart said; “Sunday Evening’s are a big deal to GaydarRadio listeners. I want to find out who’s done what over the weekend and maybe hook some people up with my speed dating version of Stupid Cupid.”

Also joining GaydarRadio will be Andy Peacock who will ramp up Saturday and Sunday afternoons with Your Choice Requests. Andy has worked for the BBC and commercial radio for the last twenty years and is excited about joining the multi award winning team. Andy said; “I am really pleased to be part of GaydarRadio as it’s a positive upbeat station that is not only enjoyed by the Gay and lesbian community but by everyone. It’s just great fun!”

GaydarRadio’s new schedule sees Alex Baker moving from weekends to weekday afternoons. Alex joined GaydarRadio from the London School of Economics in 2008 and is their youngest presenter. Simon Le Vans moves to Lunchtimes after a successful four years on afternoons.

GaydarRadio Programme Controller, Robin Crowley said; “Stuart Miles and Andy Peacock will spice up our weekend with shows that will hit our audience right between the eyes. With Alex Baker moving to weekdays it’s going to be a very exciting time for both us and our listeners. It also confirms our commitment to developing new talent on GaydarRadio”
